OPEN LAKE FORECAST for Lake Michigan
National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI
243 PM CDT Sat Oct 20 2018

FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.42 inches will move south from the eastern
Dakotas to the MO/IL border overnight. The northwest Gales will
steadily diminish this evening as the pressure gradient across
the lake begins to relax.

Winds will become southwesterly on Sunday as the high pressure
continues to move off toward eastern Kentucky. Low pressure of
29.8 inches will push across Ontario on Monday, dragging another
cold front across the lake.

High pressure of 30.50 inches will then settle across the western
Great Lakes for Tuesday through Thursday of next week, bringing
rather quiet conditions to the region. Winds early in the week
will generally be from the northwest, becoming southerly toward
the end of the week.
