COUNTIES...THE CITY OF FALLS CHURCH AND THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA...
At 1143 PM EST, emergency management officials and automated rain
gagues reported numerous instances of flooding across the warned
area. There have been several water rescues in the warned area, so
please pay special attention as you are driving overnight.
Areas that are seeing the most flooding tonight include Montgomery
County near Brookeville, Prince William County around Manassas, and
Fairfax County in the Annandale and Great Falls region. At 1145 PM
EST, Rock Creek in northwest Washington DC exceeded it's flood stage
by a foot, and was still rising.
Due to the saturated soil conditions, the flood waters will be slow
to recede, and this warning is likely to be extended until Sunday

Arlington, Alexandria, Germantown, Rockville, Bethesda, Gaithersburg,
Reston, Leesburg, Annandale, Clinton, Olney, College Park, Fort
Washington, Herndon, Greenbelt, Langley Park, Beltsville, Fort Hunt,
Vienna and Damascus.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Washington. The District of Columbia. In Virginia,
Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria, Clarke, Culpeper, Eastern
Loudoun, Fairfax, Frederick VA, Madison, Northern Fauquier,
