...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...

The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys,
Lewis, Maury, Montgomery, Perry, Robertson, Stewart, Sumner,
and Williamson.

* Through late Saturday night

* 3 to 5 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts approaching
6 inches, through Saturday night on top of already saturated
grounds.

* Isolated flash flooding is possible with each episode of
rainfall through this weekend, and area rivers and streams
are going to be on the rise. Those who experienced flooding
this past week and are in this Flood Watch need to pay
special attention to rainfall accumulations as flooding is
expected to return to those locations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor latest forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
