...Snow Will Diminish This Evening...

Snow will continue to slowly end this evening but northeast winds
of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph are still expected into the
early part of the overnight hours. This will create blowing and
drifting snow, keeping roads snow covered and hazardous. Some
rural roads that run east to west may be difficult to travel or
impassable. Travel is not recommended.

Including the cities of Fort Wayne, New Haven, Huntington,
Roanoke, Wauseon, Archbold, Swanton, Delta, Defiance, Sherwood,
Hicksville, Napoleon, Deshler, Liberty Center, Paulding, Antwerp,
and Payne

* WHAT...Snow was diminishing this evening but blowing and
drifting snow will continue into the overnight hours. Storm
total snow accumulations will be between 4 and 8 inches with
locally higher amounts. North to northeast winds will gust to
between 25 and 35 mph resulting in blowing and drifting snow,
reduced visibilities, and hazardous travel conditions. Some
rural roads may be impassable.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be difficult, if not impossible
on rural roads. Strong winds will result in blowing and
drifting snow and reduced visibilities.


A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
